1. Jump Around, Wisconsin
Right before the fourth quarter, House of Pain comes on at Camp Randall and 80,000 people start jumping. You can feel the stadium bounce. Nothing else in the sport has that kind of energy.
2. The Iowa Wave
At the end of the first quarter, the whole crowd at Kinnick Stadium turns and waves to the kids watching from the children's hospital next door. It's the most moving moment in college football, and both teams join in.
3. Howard's Rock, Clemson
The Tigers touch the rock and run down the hill into Death Valley. Brent Musburger called it "the most exciting 25 seconds in college football," and he was right.
4. The 12th Man, Texas A&M
The whole student body stands for the entire game, ready to go in if the team needs them. Go the night before and you'll catch Midnight Yell, too.
5. Script Ohio, Ohio State
The marching band spells out "Ohio" in cursive, and one lucky sousaphone player dots the "i." It's a big honor, and the crowd goes wild for it.
6. The Grove, Ole Miss
Chandeliers, white tents, and the best-dressed tailgate in America. Win or lose, Ole Miss wins the party in the Grove.
7. Toomer's Corner, Auburn
After a big win, fans roll the oak trees at Toomer's Corner with toilet paper until downtown looks like it snowed. Winning never looked more fun.
8. The Vol Navy, Tennessee
Hundreds of boats tie up on the Tennessee River next to Neyland Stadium. Tailgating from the water is a whole different experience.
9. Play Like a Champion Today, Notre Dame
Every player slaps the sign on the way to the field. Its roots go back decades, and the sign has become one of the most recognized symbols in sports.
10. The March On, Army-Navy
The Corps of Cadets and the Brigade of Midshipmen march onto the field before kickoff. When both schools sing each other's alma maters after the game, you're watching the best of what sports can be.
